One of Gatlinburg's most popular attractions, the award-winning Christus Gardens offers a dramatic portrayal of the life of Jesus Christ through realistic dioramas of Biblical events. Christus Gardens allows visitors to travel back 2,000 years and experience the Greatest Story Ever Told by viewing life-like scenes of Christ at Prayer in the Garden, the Sermon on the Mount, the Last Supper, The Crucifixion and The Risen Christ at the Empty Tomb. More than 100 life-size figures in authentic costumes, beautiful music, dramatic lighting and inspirational narration blend seamlessly to create an incredibly moving experience.
Billed as "America's No. 1 religious attraction," Christus Gardens also features monumental Biblical murals, an Heirloom Bible Collection, Place of Parables Gallery, Biblical Coin Collection and more. Open 364 days a year, Christus Gardens is located off Highway 441, just one block from the center of downtown Gatlinburg. Hours are 8 AM to 9 PM (April through October) and 9 AM to 5 PM (November through March).
