Daredevil Falls - Dollywood

Do you have what it takes to endure Daredevil Falls at Dollywood? You begin this thrill seeking adventure at the Outfitters base camp. Once aboard your outfitter boat, you will navigate down river and encounter tunnels, bats, unstable mine shafts, black bears and abandoned lumber machinery. Just when you think it is over, your boat screams over a waterfall 60 feet down at speeds up to 60 mph! The ride lasts approximately 4 minutes and is located in Craftsman’s Valley at Dollywood. Daredevil Falls is named for a childhood experience Dolly Parton shared with her brothers and sisters growing up in the Smoky Mountains. The siblings used to swim in a secret swimming hole that was fed by a crystal-clear waterfall, and occasionally someone would be dared to "ride over the falls."
