Dollywood's Thunderhead is one of the wildest, wooden roller coasters in the mountains. It stands taller than most trees and features a 100-foot drop at top speeds of 55 mph. There is a lot of “floater” air time tossing you up and almost out of your seat. The minimum height requirement is 48 inches. Thunderhead is located is Thunderhead Gap.
