More then 20,000 visitors flock to Pigeon Forge for A Mountain Quiltfest, which features a multi-category quilt show, as well as more than 70 instructional seminars and classes taught by some of the country’s leading quilt instructors. Quilt show categories include large and small bed quilts, professional quilts, miniatures, large and small wall hangings, antique quilts and novelty quilts. A Mountain Quiltfest, which is hosted by the city of Pigeon Forge, along with the Piecemakers and Sevier Valley Quilters guilds, has been designated a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.
