The Smoky Mountain region’s premier annual event, WinterFest started in 1990 and has evolved into a 4-month celebration of the winter holidays that encompasses the entire county and draws thousands of visitors. During WinterFest, dozens of special events and activities take place in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Festivities include live concerts, storytelling, wine tastings, chili cookoff, illumination and decoration contests, trolley light tours, guided hikes and much more. Don't miss the Winter Savings Fest, Wilderness Wildlife Week, Smoky Mountain Storytelling Festival and the Saddle Up! Celebration.

Take a guided trolley tour and view incredible light displays throughout Gatlinburg as part of the Smoky Mountain Winterfest celebration. Trolley rides begin at 6:30 PM and 8 PM every Saturday throughout January. Pigeon Forge also offers its own Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights from early November through the end of December.

Founded in 1937, the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community has evolved into the largest organization of independent artisans in the United States. The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community presents three annual craft shows: Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Show, Christmas Arts & Crafts Show and Easter Arts & Crafts Show. All shows are held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in downtown Gatlinburg. Admission is free.
