While at the resort you will be surrounded by the natural beauty of the Appalachians while still being close to town. The resort includes an outdoor pool, clubhouse (for rent), playground and picnic pavilion. Recreation Mountain Shadows Resort provides convenient access to Dollywood, shopping in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, Ripley's Aquarium, Cherokee casinos, dinner theaters and shows, golf courses and putt-putt courses, helicopter rides, restaurants and fishing. Dining Mountain Shadows Resort is within five minutes of two grocery stores and multiple restaurants. In addition, two pizza places deliver to cabins at Mountain Shadows Resort. Hotel Policies There is a nonrefundable cleaning and processing fee. Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. Pets are allowed in some cabins for a fee (must be arranged in advance). A 2-night minimum stay is required. Room Descriptions All of the cabins at Mountain Shadows Resort feature fully equipped kitchens, hot tubs, fireplaces, gas grills and decks. Choose from studios and one-bedroom cabins that sleep two people, all the way up to five-bedroom cabins that sleep up to 16 people.
Directions From Nashville: Travel on Interstate 40 to Exit 407 and follow Highway 66 through Sevierville. Travel on Highway 66 into Gatlinburg. Once you get into Gatlinburg, take a left at Traffic Light #3 onto East Parkway. (Be careful: There is also a Stoplight #3 in Pigeon Forge.) Drive 3.2 miles. Turn left onto Hidden Hills Road. The Mountain Shadows Resort office is the first cabin on the left.
