An expanding mountainside cabin community, the upscale Mountain Shadows Resort
is located in an urban setting within the city limits of Gatlinburg. In addition
to our wide variety of amenities and services, the resort is located less than 3
miles from Gatlinburg's downtown "strip", while most of our cabins overlook the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Our location is less congested and right inside the Great Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community, the largest organization of independent artisans in the United States. All of the spacious cabins at Mountain Shadows Resort are located on our resort, not scattered throughout Gatlinburg, and feature fully equipped kitchens, hot tubs, fireplaces and spectacular mountain views!

From McGhee Tyson Airport (Knoxville): Turn right onto Briscoe Drive, travel straight onto State Road 429 and then
turn left onto U.S. 129. From U.S. 129, take State Road 168 and travel
approximately 7 miles before turning right onto U.S. 441. Travel on U.S. 441 for
approximately 23 miles and then turn left onto U.S. 321/U.S. 441 and travel on
U.S. 321 for approximately 12 miles. Turn left onto Hidden Hills Road to reach
Mountain Shadows Resort.
Mountain Shadows Resort is conveniently located on the Trolley Route less than 4
miles from all the attractions, specialty shops and dining opportunities in
downtown Gatlinburg. Onsite amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tub, kiddie
pool, game room and clubhouse.
In addition, the Gatlinburg Community Center is located just 0.5 mile from the Mountain Shadows Resort. The facility features a 24-yard indoor pool, and 8-lane bowling alley, 4 racquetball courts, gymnasium and game room. Mills Park is also just 0.5 mile away with tennis and basketball courts, softball and football fields, jogging trail, playground, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, covered pavilion and 400-meter track.
Mountain Shadows Resort is conveniently located less than 4 miles from the
wide range of world-class dining opportunities in downtown Gatlinburg. All
cabins contain fully equipped kitchens. In addition, Food City supermarket is
just 0.5 mile away.
Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. Pets are allowed; fee and deposit may apply. A 2-night minimum stay is required.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR MOUNTAIN SHADOWS RESORT: Any cancellation/change made within 14 days prior to arrival will result in a charge equal to one nights accommodations plus tax. Any cancellation/change made outside of 14 days will result in a $45 processing fee. No refunds will be made for no-shows or early checkouts.
- There are no room charges for children 17 years of age, or younger, who are staying in the same room as their parents or guardians.
- A valid photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport is required at check-in.
- A credit card or cash deposit is required upon check-in for any incidental charges.
- Check cards that are sponsored by Visa or Mastercard are accepted.
- Rollaway and cribs may be available and should be requested at the time of booking; fees may apply.
