For a true taste of the Smoky Mountains, nothing beats an evening of rollicking entertainment at Ole Smoky Hoedown! This hilarious, down-home family production features a dynamic cast with live music, singing, dancing, clowns and much more. The award-winning Ole Smoky Hoedown is the creation of Elwood Smooch (aka Billy Baker), a multitalented comedian, singer and dancer, as well as recent inductee into the International Clown Hall of Fame. Each season features 3 different shows: Bright Side of the Road Show (March through August), Harvest Show (early September to November 1st) and Christmas in the Hills (early November through December 31 st). In addition, outstanding bluegrass music can be heard during Bluegrass Fridays at Ole Smoky Hoedown. The 425-seat, barnyard-style Ole Smoky Hoedown theater is located at the northern end of Pigeon Forge.
Note: The Ole Smoky Hoedown closed after the 2006 season. However, Elwood Smooch will be performing at the Comedy Barn Theater during the 2008 season. Elwood also performs his "Choo Choo Cha Boogie Show" at the Jukebox Junction Theater in Chattanooga, Tennessee. |
