Enjoy 3 days of live concerts by some of the most talented cowboy poets and Western musicians in the United States during Saddle Up! in Pigeon Forge. The festivities include a Cowboy Action Shooting competition, Western swing dance, Western songwriters workshop, and memorabilia show and sale. Past Saddle Up! performers have included Don Edwards, Rich O'Brien, Waddie Mitchell, Curly Musgrave, Belinda Gail, Burson Family, R.W. Hampton, Brenn Hill, Roy Rogers Jr. and the High Riders, Flying J Wranglers and Wylie & the Wild West. Take the whole family to listen to some of the country’s top storytellers during the 3-day Smoky Mountain Storytelling Festival, which also includes concerts, workshops, National Youth Storytelling Showcase and Haunts ‘n’ Haints Trolley Tales aboard the Pigeon Forge Trolley. Past storytellers at the Smoky Mountain Storytelling Festival have included Connie Regan-Blake, Chris Isaacs, Kent Rollins, Jeremy Evans, Elizabeth Rose, Bobby and Sherry Norfolk, John McCutcheon and Donald Davis, among others.

The Smoky Mountain region’s premier annual event, WinterFest started in 1990 and has evolved into a 4-month celebration of the winter holidays that encompasses the entire county and draws thousands of visitors. During WinterFest, dozens of special events and activities take place in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Festivities include live concerts, storytelling, wine tastings, chili cookoff, illumination and decoration contests, trolley light tours, guided hikes and much more.
